Show at Barre proudly presents ADAM GWON
Part of the New American Musical Festival which features a series of young, up and coming Broadway composers.
Adam Gwon is a rising musical theater writer named one of 50 to Watch by The Dramatist magazine. He won the 2008 Fred Ebb Award for excellence in musical theater songwriting and has been hailed an extremely talented composer and lyricist who is seriously going places. Adam's musical Ordinary Days made its NYC premiere with a sold-out run at Roundabout Theatre Company and is currently licensed by the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization, with an original cast recording on Ghostlight Records. The show has been produced around the world, including London's West End, South Coast Repertory, Adirondack Theatre Festival, Human Race Theatre Company, Pennsylvania Centre Stage, the Finborough Theatre, and more, and was selected for the 2008 NAMT Festival of New Musicals.
His other shows include The Boy Detective Fails (with Joe Meno), Cloudlands (with Octavio Solis) and Bernice Bobs Her Hair (with Julia Jordan). His work has been seen and developed at Roundabout Theatre Company, Primary Stages, the York Theatre, SIgnature Theatre, the Kennedy Center, Ars Nova, New Dramatists, NAMT, NYMF, the Johnny Mercer Foundation/American Music Theatre Project, Symphony Space, the Disney/ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop, Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the Flea Theater, and many others.
Tickets are $10 in advance. Purchase of a ticket guarantees entry into the venue, it does not guarantee a table. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. Seating begins 90 minutes prior to show time. BARRE vt is an intimate venue and tries to accommodate as many patrons as possible. Be prepared to make new friends.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy BARRE vt cuisine and cocktails. There is a two drink minimum and an 18% gratuity added to all checks. BARRE vt is part of the Vermont/Rockwell Restaurant complex. Patrons may also dine in one of our sister restaurants, please let the host/hostess know that you are attending a show and we will happily hold a table for you.
ONLINE ADVANCE TICKETS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. Tickets (if available) can be purchased at the door 90 minutes prior to show time.
